The Executive team is charged with nurturing First Eagle’s investment-centric culture and executing against the firm’s long-term business objectives, seeking to grow and diversify our business while preserving the legacy we trace back to 1864.
Executive Trio
The Alternative Credit team combines a national presence with a strong regional focus to offer clients broad access to public and private alternative credit markets in the US. The highly experienced team presents a distinct combination of expertise across direct lending, middle-market club loans, syndicated loans, high yield bonds and asset-based loans.
Our Finance team is a key source of timely information and analysis delivered to a variety of users, from company management and the board of directors to clients and regulatory authorities. Consisting of multiple subgroups, the team’s wide-ranging responsibilities include financial reporting and forecasting, budget analysis, P&L statement oversight, regulatory and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) compliance, security valuation and many others.
In pursuit of attractive real returns over time, the Global Value team employs a bottom-up, fundamental, benchmark-agnostic approach to portfolio construction that rests on four pillars: security selection, cash as deferred purchasing power, gold as a potential hedge and thoughtful currency management. Key to the Global Value team’s investment process is the distinct temperament of the professionals comprising it, characterized by patience, humility and flexibility.
The Human Resources team partners with the firm’s business lines and management to nurture an environment in which First Eagle colleagues are empowered to do their life’s best work. To this end, the team develops and implements policies and programs designed to attract a talented, inclusive workforce; promote professional development; and support our colleagues’ physical, mental and emotional welfare.
The Institutional team is responsible for delivering First Eagle’s differentiated investment solutions to institutional investors worldwide, both directly and through investment consultants, and servicing those clients on an ongoing basis. This client base includes corporate defined benefit and defined contribution plans, state and local pension funds, union pension funds, insurance companies, healthcare companies, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds.

International Wealth Management develops and maintains relationships with First Eagle’s key retail distribution partners outside the US, including Amundi Asset Management, helping make our strategies accessible to international retail investors through the appropriate vehicles. 
The Legal & Compliance team facilitates First Eagle’s operations by providing advice and counsel to all areas of the firm, bolstering our culture of integrity and helping the firm maintain our commitments to our clients and regulators. By mitigating legal and regulatory risks in the conduct of business, the professionals on our Legal & Compliance team are essential to protecting the firm’s financial well-being and reputation.

In partnership with our Distribution and Investment teams, Marketing develops communications strategies, materials and programs to support the First Eagle brand and promote stronger relationships between the firm and our constituents across distribution channels globally. Key functional areas within Marketing include retail and institutional product and channel, marketing services, brand, digital marketing, public relations, strategic communications and thought leadership, and corporate events.

With a model that emphasizes best-in-class client service, the Retail Distribution team represents the First Eagle Funds and other retail-focused investment products across all retail distribution channels in the US, including wirehouses, independent and regional broker-dealers, and registered investment advisers. Also within the Retail team is our Retirement Investment Solutions group, which works with various intermediaries to help individuals save for retirement.

The Municipal Credit team seeks to provide high current income exempt from regular federal income taxes. Capital appreciation is a secondary objective when consistent with the Fund’s primary objective.

The Small Cap team believes a disciplined approach executed by experienced investment professionals is critical in an asset class where increased volatility and inefficiency can provide opportunities for active investors. The team seeks to build diversified portfolios of stocks that not only are trading at a discount to what we believe to be their normalized valuations but also have a visible and fundamentally sound catalyst for price improvement.
The Technology & Operations team has broad responsibilities that significantly impact the day-to-day experience of First Eagle employees, external stakeholders and clients. The team develops and manages the technology infrastructure that supports First Eagle’s business activities, including everything from our phones and desktop computers to trading, settlement and reconciliation activities and client onboarding and reporting.

Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship program is a ten-week program based in New York for rising Juniors (May 2028 graduates) who are in the process of completing their undergraduate degree. Each year, the program will commence in June and will provide students with an immersive and rewarding professional experience. This internship will 1) offer students the opportunity to receive hands-on experience working alongside employees, 2) understand the inner workings of an investment management firm, and 3) learn about the legacy of First Eagle and our commitment to attractive real returns for clients over the long term.

Client Service Analyst Program

The Client Service Analyst (CSA) Program is designed to target diverse talent of all backgrounds early in their careers and to support these individuals on the path to becoming an Internal Advisor Consultant (formerly known as Internal Wholesalers). These analysts work alongside our current Internal Advisor Consultants to gain a greater understanding of the retail distribution process and develop essential technical and client management skills. An integral part of this process includes preparing for and passing the FINRA Series 7 and 63 exams necessary to become a registered representative.
