Robert Nicholson

Rob Nicholson is head of US Wealth Solutions Alternative Sales. Prior to joining First Eagle in December 2025, he led West Coast alternative investment distribution as an alternative investment market leader and served as a strategist for the private equity real estate platform at BlackRock. Over the past two decades, Rob has held senior sales and capital markets roles—directly and through joint ventures—with leading private equity and asset management firms, including Archon, Deutsche Bank, Hines, Cole Capital and Ares Management. He began his career at Morgan Stanley before transitioning to buy-side analysis with Oxford and later into acquisitions at Wells. Rob earned a BA in economics from the University of Texas at Austin, a master’s in business with a concentration in private equity from London Business School and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Columbia Business School.
