David Lauschke is a director and senior research analyst on First Eagle Alternative Credit’s Tradable Credit team, supporting senior portfolio managers in conducting fundamental research and evaluating investment opportunities. As industry vertical lead covering the technology sector, Dave is also responsible for training and mentoring credit analysts and associates. Dave became part of First Eagle in 2020 upon the firm’s acquisition of THL Credit, which he had joined in 2016. Previously, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Jefferies. Dave earned a B.Eng. in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
