Tano Santos

Tano Santos is a senior advisor to the Global Value Team who joined First Eagle in January 2019. He provides the Global Value team with insight into macroeconomic and investing trends and with perspectives on specific industries. Tano is director of the Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing at Columbia Business School, where he teaches a course on value investing. He focuses his research in two distinct areas: asset pricing and applied economic theory. Tano earned his BS from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and his PhD from the University of Chicago. He has taught at Columbia Business School since 2003.
