Heather Brilliant, CFA

Heather Brilliant is chief operating officer of First Eagle Investments and head of the Diamond Hill investment team. Heather became part of First Eagle in 2026 upon the firm’s acquisition of Diamond Hill, which she had joined in 2019 as chief executive officer. Previously, she was chief executive officer of the Americas region at First State Investments. Before that, she spent nearly 14 years with Morningstar, where she served as global head of equity and credit research before being named chief executive officer of Morningstar Australasia. Heather earned a BA in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
