First Eagle Investments Makes a Donation to German Red Cross in Support of Humanitarian Relief Efforts in Ukraine

First Eagle’s thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and all those being impacted by the hostilities there. We are encouraged by the global coordination we have seen among governments, organizations and individuals to promote peace in the region and to bring support to those most in need.

To support the ongoing humanitarian relief efforts, First Eagle made a €100,000 donation to the German Red Cross as it assists individuals displaced by the war as well as those in need within Ukraine. In addition, First Eagle colleagues are encouraged to take the advantage of our existing Matching Gifts Program as well as a recent Employee Appreciation Day grant—both made available through the First Eagle Investments Foundation—to contribute to a number of relief funds, including those helping people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

As a firm, we strongly support efforts to bring peace to the region. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.
